Software Development Intern (ReactJS / React Native / TypeScript / Django / Go) Location: Remote / Hybrid – Nairobi, Kenya Type: Internship Department: Engineering & Product Development Start Date: Flexible About the Role We are seeking Software Development Interns who are eager to learn, build, and contribute to the development of innovative digital products. The successful candidates will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and deploy scalable web and mobile applications using modern technologies. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to build high-quality applications. • Develop responsive user interfaces using ReactJS and TypeScript. • Build cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. • Implement backend logic, APIs, and data models using Django (Python) and Go (Golang). • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. • Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and sprint planning sessions. • Support deployment, testing, and debugging processes. Required Skills and Qualifications • Foundational knowledge or project experience in ReactJS, React Native, Django, or Go. • Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good communication and teamwork abilities. • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. Preferred Skills (Optional) • Experience with Git, Docker, or CI/CD tools. • Familiarity with Figma or other design collaboration tools. • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). • Previous contribution to personal or open-source projects.
